Too Cool! Thank you all who donated! Our last saw was on it's final legs and this one will really help my students cut accurately. We strive to produce the best productions possible; with the right tools we can make that possible. This is a very nice saw that will allow students to do their work in a safe way. We will be utilizing this saw all the time. It is the most essential tool found in a theater's scene shop. Again that you all so much. We will be putting this into service as soon as April.

I am so grateful that our students will have awesome mural paint in a variety of colors to use. We have been using standard wall paint. We have only one container of a real miracle paint and it is magenta. Magenta only go goes so far. The mural pain is much easier for the students to use and they love using it. I love that it's durable so that their can last for many years. Our art teacher is sketching out another mural tomorrow. I am working on a mural on the other side of the building currently. It is a large space and all the base work is done. I can't wait for all these wonderful colors to come in so that we can add all the detail work and have more than 10 colors to work with. Our students are so wonderful. They are hard-working, talented, well behaved, and full of joy. They deserve to have an incredible artistic experience. Because I was always in music classes, I never was able to take art class in middle school and high school. Had I been able to paint murals, I would've had more of an artistic experience along with the musical experience. My students can do both at our school. Some can paint during the day and some can stay after and paint. Your generosity is helping our students to become well-rounded artists.

We are SO happy that our project has been funded! Our band classroom is very deficient in any type of technology. Currently we only have a CD player, TV and a VCR player in our room! The recording device will allow the students the opportunity to hear what they sound like from the audience's perspective. The sound system will provide for great sound quality as they listen to themselves and other recordings. The tuners will help the students to understand their instrument's role in the overall sound of the band. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for your donation! Your generosity will help our middle school students create club t-shirts for after school activities. I am so excited to see these students' ideas come to fruition in the creation of their shirts. This project is going to help students see that art is everywhere and that there are many different careers that involve art. By helping to fund projects like these, you are giving students the opportunity to take their creativity and learning to the next level. Thank you so much!

Wow! Imagine my elation when I discovered that this incredible project, an opportunity to go to the bookstore and share the joy of reading, had been funded--on snow day, no less! Now, please, multiply that surprise and joy by 25 students when they find out about your generosity. THAT is something that they will not forget, nor will I. Thank you so much for supporting my students in their learning. You have provided more than *just* a trip to the bookstore. You have given them a chance to make a lifelong friendship with a great book.

The VAPA (Visual And Performing Arts program) truly appreciate your donations. Personally, I believe arts are essential in every school at every grade. Without art nothing would exist in our world. Your donations have allowed us to inspire these younger students to be creative. It is in the act of being creative we access both sides of our brain. Now, with common core as the standard for learning, the arts must exist in schools. It is through the arts program that we can promote Depth of Knowledge at the higher levels 3 & 4 required by the common core standards. I imagine that soon all academic teachers will work in collaboration with the VAPA teachers giving all students a well rounded higher level education. Your donations help make this possibility and reality.

It is with much emotion that I thank you for supporting my project that has the potential to benefit every student in my school. My students will now have access to opportunities in the Library Maker Space to dream, create, learn with others, work with community experts, and share their projects. As a result of your donation, my students will have many opportunities to be college and career ready. I know they will feel pride in their accomplishments and have increased self-esteem. Thank you so much for your generosity.

Thank you so much for funding our Donors Choose project. It has been so exciting to see the project in action. As our piano club has begun, it has become evident that we are in need of more supplies to make it even better. Your generosity will help our club run more smoothly. Your donations will also help our students select fabulous repertoire to play. Just as students are more inclined to read something that interests them, they are more motivated by music they are interested in playing. I know the music books will help our piano students tickle the ivories with even more enthusiasm! Your radical generosity is wonderful!

Thank you for helping my students here in Western NY! My school has an extremely limited music budget, and every bit helps. With these instruments my students can explore different timbres and enjoy playing an instrument they may not have ever played before. My students love playing on new instruments as many of them have never had a music class before. Some students come from alternative schooling situations where music was not a part of the curriculum. Thank you so much for giving this opportunity to my students!

Dear Public - Supply,

I want to thank everyone once again for donating to my classroom. These supplies are making projects possible. Currently, I am teaching students how to do a grid drawing using the new rulers! They are drawing self portraits. I will have some photos up soon! I am excited to use the plaster strips to make 3d work with my painting class. They are going to pick a painting from history and turn it into a mask! The paint brushes are always a necessity as well. Students have already used them on multiple projects. Many of the great things going on in my classroom would not be possible if it were not for your generous donations.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

This amazing resource will help us stay engaged in the learning process and will allow us to utilize technology in a meaningful way! We will use our new writing tablets daily during small group instruction and as an independent tool for all subjects. Thank you again for your generosity! We can't wait to start using our Boogie Boards!!

I am so happy to announce that my project has been fully funded! This is wonderful news to get the day before our winter concert! I am full of so much gratitude and appreciation for your donations and your shared vision in the importance of making music. I knew it would be a challenge to raise this much money and it is truly humbling to know that WHCIS has your support. I cannot wait for you to hear and see our students performing on the risers for their next concert. Seeing their joy and passion for singing on stage could make anyone a believer in the power of making music.

Thank you so much for your generous donations. My class was so excited when they saw the boxes arrived. They couldn't wait for me to open them and see the colors. The stools were a big hit! My students are enjoying using the stools all over the room. They love to pull two stools together and read books with friends. They also love to sit and write stories. When I asked them what they liked best about the stools, they told me that it helps keep their brain moving. I thought that was a good way to explain that they were more on task. Thank you for helping make a more active classroom. My class feels pretty special because of our donations. They are so excited to get to work! Thank you so much for making a fun classroom.

Thank you all so much for your generous support! My students will be so excited to hear that we'll be getting these chromebooks! We will put them to use right away in connecting with international online partners as well as our 2nd-grade partners we will be guiding in a research project. Students will quickly experience more extension activities online, as well as more easily and effectively record their voice, video and compositions. These chromebooks will serve as an important access to our online textbook, and perhaps most importantly, will give in-class Internet access to my students who do not have any connective devices. Thank you again for thinking of my students! Your generosity will not only affect this years' students, but those to come!

Thank you so much for your support of my band program! These books will be used by students who are using instruments as part of our loaner program. These books will enable the students to learn how to assemble and care for their instruments. It will allow them to be able to learn how to read and understand music. The students will also be able to learn some basic music history as well. These books are the main source to teach the kids how to play an instrument. Thank you so much for you donation!

I want to sincerely thank you for your contribution to our classroom project. This donation came at just the right time. We are currently painting our sculptures and are running out of paint. The next project that I had planned is the Paint Nite project, but since we didn't have canvases or acrylic papers I was planning to have them paint on watercolor paper. Now that you kindly purchased the paint and canvases, we can begin our Paint Nite project as originally planned. I cannot wait to be able to send you pictures of our finished works of art. Thanks again. It's the kindness of people like you that keeps the arts going strong.

We are ready to host a workshop for our families to take part in an art project, thanks to you. We've invited each student to come to the workshop with the special man in their life. Together, we will assist the family to create a project that involves the hands of our students and their families. Each pair, couple, or family, will be combining their handprints using warm and cool, colors to show unity within our school community and school family. This project will help boost parent involvement in our school and engage the families through the visual arts. Thank you again, so very dearly for your support.
