Thank you for helping me reach my goal and funding this project for my students!! I know they are going to be so excited to have a new, clean carpet for our classroom. By funding this project, you are not only helping the students of my classroom, but all the future students of room 128!

Every student deserves to sit on a clean, spacious carpet, everyday to learn and grow. And by funding this project, you just gave these children so many reasons to be thankful. So from all of class 128, thank you!!!

With gratitude,
Ms. V.

School Model Cello

Thank you all so much for your generosity! I will be so excited to add a cello player to our ensemble. I have so many students who would like to play cello this coming year. We rent the two cellos that we have so it will be great for the orchestra and school to have their own. The difficult part is deciding who will get to be the next cellist. I am very grateful that there are donors such as your self, that give to schools like mine. I have extremely talented students and they will take great care of our new instrument.

With gratitude,
Ms. Roberts

Thank you so much for donating to students and astrophotography. With theses supplies, we have all the supplies we need to take pre-programmed pictures of stellar objects at night. Students will submit proposals for telescope time, Mr. O will program the telescope accordingly, the telescope and camera will take the exposures, and students will access and analyze their results in the classroom using the software. Practical astronomy is now available to my students. NOT POSSIBLE WITHOUT YOUR HELP!

With gratitude,
Mr. Orlovic

Just wanted to express a heart felt thanks. It's been a grey year at school for technology. Its the first year that our school participated in the Lego Robotics Competition and the kids loved it. With these kits I can teach more students how to program robots while teaching them valuable math and critical thinking skills.

It's amazing how much more focus kids have when you're teaching them something that is also fun. Your donation has made it possible.

With gratitude,
Mr. Varas

I am extremely humbled by your donation to my project. As a teacher, it is my nature to always put my students' needs before my own, therefore I was quite leery of posting a project for personal and professional growth. However, knowing individuals like each of you value supporting teachers and our quests to improve as educators is inspiring.

The equipment you donated will help me hone my technology skills so I can effectively create new technology experiences for my students. My STEAM club dabbled in video productions this year, but it was limited by a lack of resources. Your generosity has assisted with this dilemma and will bring a new sense of excitement to the upcoming year.

By taking the time to invest in me, you have ultimately invested in the lives of many inner city youth who will be exposed to new technology tools and programs.

With gratitude,
Mrs. Singleton

Thank you so much for your generosity. Your contributions have paved a way for us to provide our students with an opportunity to obtain a training certificate in Design, Coding and Biotech Engineering. They will have the opportunity to watch their designs come alive and influence change in our local community. These designs will one day be used in future urban planning projects.

We hope to send you all great photos of our community impact designs in the near future.

With gratitude,
Mr. Sandoval

Thank you so much for helping to fund our "Glaze It" project! This will make a lasting impact on many teenagers' lives. When they see their finished glazed pieces they are so incredibly happy! Even students that didn't seem to be as invested in their projects, are excited when their glazed pieces come put of the kiln! With this glaze, many students will make creations that will potentially last long past their own lifetimes.

Thank you sooooo much for your help!

With gratitude,
Ms. Kirk

WOW! We are so excited to be using these laptops to research, produce, and publish artwork. The projects we are researching will not only educate students about global issues but empower them to educate others through the arts. With your support I will now be able to grant access to resources online to students, and encourage them to publish their work on webpages, blogs, and more. We will be able to edit photographs of work, digitally produce content using programs such as Photoshop, and create professional looking results. I am so excited to help update our classroom to 21st century production methods using these laptops! Your generosity is truly appreciated.

Ms. Gambino

Thank you all for your generous donations to help my class have great new materials! The instruments are sure to enhance the musical learning experience of all my classes. All of my students (approximately 800) love playing instruments in music class. There are so many possibilities with multiple sets of pitched boomwhakers and bells to differentiate instruction and needs of all of my students.

The subscription to the Music Educator's magazine, MusicK8, will give my students fun music to accompany with their instruments. We will be sure to use all materials for classroom instruction and presentations for both parents and the community. Thank you again for your donations.

Mrs. Bailey

Thank you so much for funding this project!!! I am so excited to expose my students to the art of digital photography. They are a creative and enthusiastic group of kids who will put the materials to good use.

I cannot wait to share the good news with my students and get started working with the digital cameras. I will send you the students' amazing future artwork created with the cameras and tripods.

Your generosity and thoughtfulness is really appreciated!

I am a fourth grade teacher at an elementary school and I teach all subjects. Our school has a predominately minority student population. We are also an urban, low socio-economic, title one school with limited funding.

I would like to use the BAM experience to empower my culturally diverse group of students. The goal is for students to learn about the cultural commonalities that exist among themselves as well as celebrate their similarities and differences.

With the "Legend Has It: School-Time Performance at BAM, I could really address Language, Reading, Writing Common Core Standards in a more meaningful way. I want to encourage students to reenact and/or rewrite legends by incorporating what they've learned from our Ready Gen curriculum and each performance. I am encouraged that these experiences will improve students writing and the understanding of curriculum goals, as well as common core standards.

As much as explicit instruction and close reading strategies are beneficial to student achievement, I feel positive that these exciting experiences will foster a deeper love for learning.

With gratitude,
Mrs. Coleman

I am so blessed to be the recipient of such a generous gift!

Thank you donors for making an investment as well as an impact on the lives of my first graders. They are so deserving of such a fun, contemporary, yet classic toy that allows them to have an outlet from academic demands. I am overjoyed for my students as they will be able to build, create, imagine and interact socially with each other through the gift of legos.

Happy Holidays! Thank you and God Bless.

Ms. Metters

Without your help this would not have been possible. You haven't just given these students recording equipment. You've given them evidence that the work they produce is valuable and that people care that their projects are of a professional quality. How else will these students be productive members of society if not with the inspiration given by people like you? How else will these students learn what it means to be a citizen of this world without the evidence demonstrated by your generosity?

You are helping these young people understand the value of a community that cares, a community that shares the view that education matters, that education is essential to a life that is full. Thank you for this.

I will share these news with my students as soon as possible. I can't wait to see their faces light up.

With gratitude,
Mr. Reconco

I can't fully express my joy, excitement, and thanks for your donation to my project. It is great to see that you share my vision for reaching children.

The tools you have funded will enable my class to have a mobile technology station where they can access district learning programs. In addition I will be able to set up other learning games and children can buddy up to learn reading and math skills.

I can't wait to share this new resource with my class!!

Thank you so much for your generous donation. This will make such a difference in my unfunded after school program. Many of my students can't afford to buy their own instrument... this will allow me to take on more students who would never have had this opportunity. The students who currently take part in my music program do much better in school. They learn to read music, which increases their understanding of fractions, closed sets, and abstract concepts in math.

Words cannot express my joy, excitement, and thanks for your donation to my project. It is great to see that you share my vision for teaching children. Through the use of visual aids and technology, students will begin to bring the events around them to life! The items that you have funded will enable students to watch their creativity as well as educational programs and activities. In addition, I will be able to demonstrate setting, mood, theme, other genres in entertainment. We are very excited to get this program started. Thank you so much. I can't wait to introduce these tools to my students.

I cannot begin to express my gratitude and excitement for the support that you have provided for my students through your donation. Music has played a vital role in my life and sharing that love of music with my students is one of the most rewarding things I get to do.  These instruments are going to provide students, who would otherwise not have the opportunity to learn an instrument, with the chance to explore a completely new and wonderful creative outlet. I know that these instruments are going to add to the joy of our classroom, school, and community during this school year and for many to come. Your generosity is going to be put to great use and I can't wait to hear the amazing sounds that start to come out of my classroom. Thank you for your support!

Thank you all for your generous donations. It means a lot to have the support of friends, family, individuals and business. The materials you have donated for will improve the function and performance of art class for hundreds of students. I can only imagine the amount joy the students will have in using these new paints. I am relieved that this project is funded and I am excited to teach students to use these new paints as well as design new lessons that incorporate these materials. I look forward to sharing the progress of students with you. I encourage you to continue to support arts initiatives in public schools by advocating and donating. I wish you and your family a healthy and colorful spring.

Thank you SO much for funding our project! We are actually about halfway done with our 3-d rooms, so will be ready to start "filming" very soon! The kids are very excited about the idea of making a stop-action movie and your donation will make it easier for them. (We have some laptops, but they're old and unpredictable, so new technology is a real boon!) I had given up on this project being funded by the end of the year - what a fabulous surprise!! Thank you so much!
