From the Teacher
I would like to thank you all for donating the wonderful supplies to my classroom. In years past, it had been difficult for me, as the teacher, to assure that all students had quality resources to use in the classroom. Many of my inner city students just do not have the means to acquire materials that will last them the school year.With this year's new curriculum, it was imperative for my students to work in groups. My students are now to using quality rulers to draw their lines. They are eager to post their work and share with the class. They have also learned to give constructive criticism to their classmates using the supply of post-it notes.
My students are becoming self initiative learners. They are coming to class, going to our class supply center, and getting to work right away. I no longer have to worry about which students are not able to start, or will not start on time due to their lack of resources. Thanks again for your generosity, my students greatly appreciate it.
