Thank you so much for your generous donations! My students are thriving with these new tools. The projector, laptops, printer, and camera are a great addition to our classroom.Because of your donation, we have been able to execute fantastic group projects. Working in groups of three, my students have been able to research online, discuss their findings together, and create presentations for their peers. They have studied several key artists, such as Vincent VanGogh, Leonardo DaVinci, Eva Hessa, Hans Hoffman, Salvador Dali, and Max Ernst. Students were able to access a myriad of great websites and databases in order to research these artists.
After researching, my students presented their findings as a group to their peers. They used the projector to share their Power Points with their class. The class listened attentively and completed peer reviews of the presentations. In this way, the students assessed each other. The groups also assessed each other and how well they worked together as a group. This process taught them invaluable lessons on how to collaborate and work as a team. The skills they gained from this process will allow them to excel in college and their chosen career paths.
