From the Teacher
The supplies that were given to my students in order to make Tiki mugs and/or ugly face mugs will be a memory that I am sure will last for a lifetime. My students were very happy to learn how to make hand built ceramic pieces that allowed them to show their sense of humor and allowed all to experience a great deal of success regardless of ability. The subject of the Tiki or ugly face mug made everyone feel as if their were no mistakes that they could make.This project has gotten many parents wanting to come into my classroom and volunteer and help out with ceramic projects in the future. Thanks for helping to make lasting memories for my students and building the creative bonds with parents and their children's art teacher.
