From the Teacher

Thank you so much for your generous contribution to my classroom. Your kindness has had a tremendous impact on my students. At the beginning of this school year, I was faced with the challenge of bringing a brand new theatre program to my middle school which is located in Houston's East End. Most of my students had never experienced any sort of theatre before and I had no props, set pieces, or existing theatre closet from which to recycle for my productions. Your kindness allowed for my students to receive all the art supplies they needed to create the amazing backdrops required for our winter show "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" as well as leaving extra supplies for upcoming shows. By helping with the art supplies, you allowed my young set designers to work with a new medium and be able to create an adorable "WHO" village for the show. In addition, your donation freed up my other resources so I was able to create costumes and the additional props we needed. The show was a success and as a result I have witnessed a great interest in acting at my school. Students who would otherwise never have known their desire to perform have now had that creative outlet opened for them through your generosity. I am truly touched by your donations and I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing my students to have such a wonderful experience in the theatre.

With gratitude,
Ms. Dale
