From the Teacher
Today I received more hugs and praise than ever before because today we got to use our new art supplies. Each one of those hugs and smiles and compliments were really for you though. I just received them on your behalf.The children were ecstatic with what they received. "Wow!, All this?, For us?, We can keep it?, This is cool! Do you like mine?" were just a few of the sounds you might have heard coming from my classroom as we opened and used our new metallic markers and color sticks. We had "smile for miles" as we designed and created our robots to go along with this week's theme for literacy.
Your help in providing these materials for my children has a tremendous impact on who they will become. Just today a girl told me if she had $100 she would give it to other people. She is smart and capable and I believe one day she will be able to return the kindness you have shown her.
