From the Teacher

Let me start by telling you how truly grateful we are! I wish you could have been present for the reaction from my sweet kiddos when they found out that we had new supplies to use. Cheers erupted from class after class when I broke the news. They were amazed that complete strangers from so far away would take notice, and donate to them.

We have put the markers and watercolors to good use. Kindergarten and first grade spent their time creating beautiful water color paintings. I gave them the freedom to come up with their own designs, and the creativity truly amazed me. The second through fifth graders were tasked with creating optical illusions. We outlined in sharpies, and colored our mind benders with the Crayola markers. It was a lot of fun!

We have many more projects planned, and we can't wait to get them underway. The kids have thoroughly enjoyed having something other than crayons to use. Your generosity has opened up a whole new world of possibilities for them. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
