From the Teacher

First, I would like to thank you for your gracious donation to the students in their quest to learn and participate in a combination of music and robotics.. My students use technology in school to do work also in their daily lives to communicate and research. With this donation, we received a robot and a ukulele. These materials not only allowed me to connect robotics and something as real as music but also created an amazing and enjoyable atmosphere.

My students were very excited especially when they opened up the ukulele. The first thing I heard when the package was opened was is that a little guitar. I was able to teach them about ukulele and its origins. They were happy to have music around since we do not have an official music class at the school. The most exciting part, in my opinion was when they began to think how to incorporate the robotics with the music.

The process of incorporating the music and robotics is still underway. Something that I began to think about is how to create music with robotics alone. I do not know how it would work, but would like students to try and create their own musical instruments. Again, thank you for your donations it was great to being a means of relaxation into the students lives.
