From the Teacher

From the moment the students saw the tower of boxes the room filled with happiness. I let groups of children open the different boxes. The children were so excited to complete some projects. Since it was hat day we created hats with the styrofoam balls and chenille pipe cleaners. The next project filling up our papers with colors using our paints and new rollers. As you can see in the pictures the children had a blast. We used the paper to create Martin Luther King Jr. collage. It is included in the picture. Then we made our, "I am Important," an art and writing project honoring the dreams of my students. Lastly we made "Thank you"cards. From your donation we were able to create three art project for all 21 students were able to participate in. I cannot wait to see just what else we can create with the gifts you helped purchased.
