From The Teacher
Dear Public - Supply,
This was the project that I held closest to my heart. From the moment that I decided to teach, I knew I wanted to teach podcasting and video editing to my students. This project gave me everything that I needed to make that dream a reality and even more.
My students, even the ones who were not in my Journalism class, were ecstatic to see such a neat green screen going up in their classroom! All of the chairs and the mics really brought a new energy to my room that felt less like you run-of-the-mill classroom and more like a studio in which students have the opportunity to create. My Journalism students and I have been learning the ways of the green screen through photo editing and of course our project: Post Journalism Podcast!
So far my students have learned how to be hosts, create an engaging podcast, and work with sound and green screen footage. None of this would have been possible without your support! We will continue to use all of these materials when it comes to our yearbook, and of course for all future classes! I cannot thank everyone who donated enough!
With gratitude,
Ms. Mills
